We are open throughout the holiday season, but are closed on weekends and public holidays. Our hours and staffing levels are slightly reduced between now and 7th January 2019, as our team members take a well deserved break.
During this time we will be extending our telephone assessment for "on the day" appointment requests to make sure that appointments are prioritised to those patients who are acutely unwell first.
Evening clinics will resume the week of Mon 28th January 2019.
If you are not registered for our patient portal but would still like to be able to book a non-urgent appointment online at your convenience then check out the orange button "Book Now" on the Home page of our website. Just follow the simple steps.
you should book with your usual doctor only. We reserve the right to contact you and reschedule bookings made with other doctors.
you cannot book on the day appointments online - please phone the medical centre to book for the same day.
The Ministry of Health has launched a new website, Kupe, aimed to assist men make the decision about whether a prostate check is right for them. Your GP will be happy to discuss any concerns, or your decision, with you.
Over 30% of our patients are already using the patient portal. We are now inviting all patients over the age of 16 years to register. This is a confidential and secure way to access your health information online, and to communicate with your GP. You can view test results, request repeat prescriptions, and book non-urgent appointments at a time convenient to you. There is also an app so you can access your health records anywhere, at anytime.

We want to make it easier for you to get in touch with us. We upgraded our phone systems so that we can answer your call more efficiently.
We also have Health Care Online, our Patient Portal, which allows you to contact your GP, book appointments, and see lab results and other clinical information, online. Going forward, as a portal user, you will be able to communicate with your GP in person, over the phone, or online. We may be able to save you a trip in to see us if you don’t need to, which may be more convenient for you.
