Flu and COVID vaccines

We are aware that many of you have questions about the upcoming vaccines. Details are still being finalised by the Ministry of Health but we will keep you informed as we are given information.  Please watch our Facebook page and website for updates.

What do we know?
We have been advised to expect the FLU vaccine from mid-April. We will only be allowed to vaccinate certain priority groups of patients in the first few weeks—this is a directive from the Ministry of Health to ensure the most vulnerable patients are vaccinated early. This is similar to how the vaccine was released to us last year. We will advise these eligible patients as soon as we have vaccine stock on hand, and we will advise all other patients via our website and Facebook page once we are permitted to provide the vaccine to you.

The COVID vaccine is also being released in prioritised stages as directed by the Ministry of Health. The details regarding where and when you will be able to receive the vaccine have not yet been released to us. As soon as wehave more details we will update you via Facebook and our website.

We anticipate running some evening and Saturday morning clinics to ensure as many of our patients receive their vaccines as quickly as possible. Please note, however, that you are not able to receive both the Flu and Covid vaccines at the same appointment as there needs to be a gap between them.

Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we plan and rollout these significant vaccinations in addition to our usual services.
